What Causes Yellowish Watery Discharge Post Total Hysterectomy?
I had a total hysterctomy with a bladder sling put this is day 6 of recovery and I m having a yellowish tinted watery discharge.My ob who did the surgery said its normal but it bothers me. I m not in pain I had my first bm 2 days ago no straining but there was blood in the toilet. When I got in the shower rt after I washed that area and say 3 little strings on the towel. I m wondering did I bust my sutures? My surgery was totally vaginal.

Noted your history of vaginal hysterectomy followed by yellowish watery discharge.
If the discharge is less, it may be just a serosanguinous discharge of healing wounds.
If it is more, it may be urinary fistula.
Please get checked properly, get the correct diagnosis and get a consultation of an Urologist for stenting or so if required.
