What Causing Vaginal Bleeding Few Days After Intercourse?

Hi, right I had intercourse on the 5th and 6th of November and used the pull out method both Times, I realised at around half 8 on the 10th of November I had some light bleeding, looked like the start of my period, I have just been prescribed with the pill so I took the pill when realised I had bled but then when I woke up on the 11th the bleeding had stopped , it is now the 12th and still no blood so I was just wondering what this could be, please help

Hello ma'am and welcome.

It is unclear in your query whether you took the pill before or after the 10 th of November, making it unclear to me whether or not the pill could have caused this presentation.

If the pill was used before the 10th, then the pill is the cause for the bleeding, but if at all you took the pill only after the 11th, the causes for your bleed could be two:

+Conception: will have to be ruled out/confirmed with the help of a home pregnancy test at least 2 weeks after the sexual contact or on or after the second day of a missed period

+Trauma to the vaginal walls from the sexual contact.
