I can understand your situation and problem.
If you are not smoker and not having
cough or breathlessness than no need to worry for this prominent bronchovascular markings (BVM).
In lung, blood vessels run along with alveoli (airways).
Alveoli contains air and hence appears black on
x ray. Blood vessels contains blood and hence it appears white on chest x ray.
So when blood supply in vessels increased, they appear slightly more prominent and hence known as prominent BVM.
Following are the possible causes for this.
1. It can be seen in normal person if x ray is taken in expiratory phase.
2.
Viral pneumonia.
3.
Bronchitis if you are smoker.
So if you are nonsmoker and not having any chest complains than no need to worry for prominent BVM.
