What Could A Painful And Fluid-filled Skin Tag In Underarms Be?
I am 50 years old and I have what appears to be a skin tag under my arm but not sure if it could be a mole it is painful and seems to be full of fluid. At first I thoughts it was an ingrown hair and tried to squeeze it but this just made it fill more with fluid and bleed. Do you think this could be cancer
Am sorry to hear about this skin tag. Cancers often take a long time to develop and I would not want to think it is one now because of the short duration of symptoms. Cancer remains a possibility but not any where near the top unless there is some ore information you have not disclosed. However, getting it examined by your doctor would be very helpful to identify the cause and treat accordingly. Please, stop squeezing on it any longer. It is not a form of treatment and only makes things worse.
I hope this addresses your query fully. Thank you so much for patronizing our services and please do feel free to ask for follow up clarifications and information if need be. I wish you the best of health. Dr. Ditah, MD.
