What Could A Pea Sized Lump Above Adam's Apple Be With Sore Throat And Swallowing Difficulty In A 17 Years Old Chronic Marijuana Smoker?
Hi I am a 17 year old male who is a chronic marijuana smoker. I started to have trouble swallowing last week, It felt like somthing was logged in my throat and I only felt it when I would swallow my saliva it did not irritate me when I ate or drank. I have had an on and off sore throat and trouble swallowing. The next week I was feeling my throat and found a small pea sized lump about a half inch above my Adam's apple just to the right if it. It does not hurt to the touch and is hard and round. It slightly moves up and down when I swallow. It doesn't hurt but I still have the trouble swallowing and an occasional sore throat.
Hi. The painful swallowing is due to pharyngitis and the lump is a lymph node due to internal infection. I would advise to see an ENT Specialist to see you and get examined for a proper treatment.
