What Could A Small, Hard Lump In Stomach Post Treatment For Colon Infection Indicate?

Im turning 52 yrs. Old this year Last month my lower left side of my abdomen was been hurting so I went to the emergency hospital I have cut scan the Dr. Says I have colon infection so he prescribed me a antibiotic and lactinex pain is gone but pea size hard lump still there , now I have appointment this coming Friday for my colonocopy . I feel normal , I eat usual no symptoms but I m still concerned about my stomach sometimes its hard and tender when I touch it

I really appreciate your, if antibiotic is not responding then this may not be infection and pain may be due to some nonspecific reasons, most of the time this is functional in origin and this is nothing to worry, if you are going for colonoscopy then get it done this will clear some doubts, hope this information, helps take care and have a nice day.
