What Could A Small Lump On Vagina Wall Causing Pain During Sex Indicate?
Hi...I have been experiencing pain during intercourse and decided to do a self exam. I then found a little nub on my vagina wall right pass the labia menora. This worries me an awful lot because I often do self exams and never had this experience before. Can u help me? what is it?
Based on your introduction, the small lump on vagina wall is a vaginal cyst, which usually is without symptoms but during the life it may become enlarged and lead to pain, itching, or increase the risk of infection.
The treatment for vaginal cist is surgical.
Also I will suggest you a biopsy of the cyst of vaginal cancer and testing secretions from the vagina or cervix to determine if a sexually transmitted infection (STI) is present.
Hope my answer was helpful for you.
Good luck!
Dr. Elton
