What Could A Small, Raised Bump On Nostril With A Pink Tinge Indicate?

Hi I have a raised small pinhead size bump on the rim of my nostril. Not painful. Has been there for perhaps a year. Just thought it was one of my bodies many imperfections, perhaps a small mole. No color irregularity. In the last day or 2 it has caught my attention. More raised with slight pink tinge at the point of it. Not sure if I bumped it to cause change? Negative STD history. Your thoughts please?

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
What lesion of bump you are having could be possibly a nasal polyp. It is a noncancerous lesion and you need not worry much about it.
It needs to be excised by means of a minor surgical procedure called 'polypectomy'.
Kindly consult ENT Surgeon in this regard for appropriate management.
Hope the information provided would be helpful.
All the best.
