I have pressure in left temple for several months, and location of my left temporal artery feels sore. Some days I can feel a "pop" in that artery, or perhaps a muscle directly above or below the temporal. When i sense the pop, i then feel it with my hand. It is disconcerting...as if the pressure builds up and artery is trying to shoot too much blood through. Can this be right? This artery may be slightly raised but unsure what my normal is. My left check has begun to feel different...maybe sort of a tingle & slight ache. My eyelids have been twitching a lot more since the above symptoms. My blood pressure varies & is higher than I prefer. At home it is under 125/80. My CBC, ANA, and CRP are normal, taken this week. I have not had SED rate in recent years. Family members have had strokes and heart attacks. Perhaps there is hereditary component. Despite this, myself & all of my family has ideal weight, healthy diet, exercise, and not on any meds.
