What Could Abdominal Pain, Frequent Urination And Dry Skin While Having Diabetes Indicate?

Good evening.. My question is about my 70 year old mother, She has been a type 2 diabetic for almost 50 years of her life. She told me tonight of pain in her side, more frequent urination and dry skin. She believes the pain generates from a kidney, and has made an appointment with a specialist about this. Can I have an understanding of what the concern might be?

Hi,
From history it seems that she might be having urinary tract infection producing this problem.
Infection is more prone in diabetics.
She might require one course of antibiotic medicine for 5-7 days.
Consult your doctor and get examined.
Advice her to keep local hygiene healthy.
Ok and take care.
