What Could Abdominal Pain With Bad Taste In Mouth Indicate?
I have really bad stomach aches and a bad taste in my mouth. I feel like I'm going to throw up. This started at the beginning of summer. My dad takes a acid indegestion medication everyday for 2 years now. What should I do? Will I have to take medicine everyday too?
As per your query abdominal pain with bad taste in mouth indicate a condition related to gastroesophageal reflux which means excessive acid production and regurgitation in stomach. I would suggest you to take few preventive measures such as stress reduction if possible, Avoid hot, sharp and spicy food substances, reduce the size of meals and try to avoid large gap between meals. Take antacids, medication such as e prilosec, prevacid, are helpful. Visit ENT specialist once if symptoms keeps on persisting. Drinl plenty of water. avoid tight clothes. Maintain proper oral hygiene. Brush and floss daily. Use antiseptic mouth wash.
