What Could Be A Creamy, Milky Or Oily Coating In Mouth With Stinging Sensation While Gargoling With Salt Water?

For the past two days I have been experiencing a creamy, milky or even oily taste in my mouth. It appears like a film that coats the tongue and mouth area. I find the more that I drink water (hot or cold) the worse it becomes. The only thing that appears to aliviated it is eAting bread but that is only for short periods of time. I found that when I gargol salt water, a stinging sensation appears. No matter how much I brush my teeth it seems no I affect. What can I do to get rid of it? And what are the possible reason for such a symptom ? What might it be?

Hi there,

Thanks for your query.

More information is required to reach to a conclusion.

However, it appears to be due to either, a fungal (candida- yeast) infection or a manifestation of indigestion. Get a throat swab culture done to identify the causative organism. Appropriate treatment would relieve you of your problems.

Consult your doctor and apprise him of my opinion. I am certain that he will agree with me, order required tests, and- based on the reports- will prescribe suitable/modified treatment as advised.

If you find my response helpful and informative, do not forget an “excellent” (5-star rating) to my answer, to ENCOURAGE ALL doctors- engaged in social service- to render sound advice to the FREE queries.
