What Could Be Causing A Painless Lump Under The Rib Cage?

Just under my left rib cage, I have a 2 X 4 lump that is painless. The skin is partially numb over the lump. There is no pain when pressing on it, or when straining the muscles in that area. No blood in stool. I just noticed the lump yesterday, but the numbness has been increasing for a week. I will see my doctor tomorrow. I d like your opinion. Thx

Hi,

Most probably the lump you have maybe fibroma. However, it may be confirmed by your expert doctor after personal examination.

If it is really fibroma, there is no need to worry as it is a benign growth. If you get embarrassed by the condition, you may go for surgical removal of the growth.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
