What Could Be Causing Chest Pain?

Age: 15 Height: 5'10" weight: 156

Just 2 weeks ago i've experienced chest pain. I never had chest pain before, so i went to the doctor and he told me it was respiratory(i have asthma) related because I my heart sounded fine. Why is it that i'm feeling this for the first time in all of my life?

Hi thanks for contacting HCM...

When allergen exposure high and your immunity low , infection can be there...
And viral infection can lead asthma attack ...

Your first step is to confirm asthma....
Your ECG normal ....no heart problem present as per your history....
Spirometry , pulmonary function test done for it...

Now if asthma confirmed or allergic reaction then try to avoid exposure to allergen like dust , pollen , environment pollutants etc.....
Smoking avoided.....

If no asthma then pain can be by bronchitis like condition....

For congestion relief steam inhalation and antihistaminic useful....
One tsp ginger with honey is good herb remedy....

Remember auscultation respi examination is having utmost importance that guide further investigation....

If repeated asthma attack occurs then metered dose inhaler can be started with salbutamol sos when needed.....

Take care....
