What Could Be Causing Erectile Dysfunction And Premature Ejaculation Here?

Hello my names Mike my question- I take lisinopril 40mg-- Tricor 145mg-- Celebrex 200mg-- Amlodipine 10mg-- Lipitor 20mg-- Allopurinol 200mg-- Asprin 80mg--Ibuprofen-- Daily. I'm 46 6'3 280lbs I have high blood pressure-- Gout-- Arthritis in my back and shoulders-- I've had 4 back surgery's lower l4 l5 s1 also 5 herniated disks-- High cholesterol-- High tryglicerides-- and smoke. My problem is I'm taking 100mg viagra and only get a 3/4 erection and premature ejaculation. Is the problem due to the blood pressure medicine. Any advice - Information- Etc would be greatly appreciated from my wife and myself. Thank you Mike

Hi Mike, thanks for your question.

Sometimes high blood pressure medications can cause erectile dysfunction (ED). However, the medications you take (lisinopril, amlodipine) are not among those that typically cause ED. Your history of back surgeries is interesting, as sometimes nerve damage or herniated discs can contribute to this problem. One thing is for sure -- smoking definitely contributes to ED. The biggest thing you can do, not only for your overall health, but also to help treat ED, is to stop smoking. If this does not help, further consultation with a urologist or psychiatrist is recommended.
