What Could Be Causing Excessive Snoring That Is Disturbing Others?

Hello I have had a real problem with snoring in the last 2 weeks it’s affecting mine and family’s sleep I snore from my throat which always seems dry and closes up a bit at night I’m taking 10 mg citalopram which I’ve been on for 6 months could that be causing it? If not are there any medications that can help? Thanks
