What Could Be Causing My Worsening Knee Pain With Stiffness?

I have knee pain that is getting worse. It started out as a mild pain but now it s very sore and stiff when I try to move it. I m not sure what is causing the pain or how to treat it. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you! I have tried using hot/cold compresses, taking over-the-counter
