what could be causing sharp chest pains with a rapid heartbeat? My husband has a history of heart problems. Last night he got a sharp pain in his chest that dropped him to the floor. With this his heart beat is very fast. He still has pain in his chest. Anyone have any suggestions what this could be? The pain is sudden like someone stabs him.
