What Could Be Chest Fluttering While Temporary Relief With Aspirin?

I have had some fluttering in my chest for a few days . I took aspirin over the weekend and Sunday I had no fluttering . Monday fluttering return so I went to my doctor and he gave me an EKG , he said everything was perfect and my number was 62. He also gave me a heart monitor for 24 hours. Last night and today the fluttering started again so I took a couple of aspirin. The doctor also put me back on protestation for cholesterol. I do run a lot and really do not like taking medicine. My cholesterol had been fine in the past. I am 5 11 and 207 lbs. just concerned about this fluttering.

I am so sorry to hear about flutters. I am not yet convinced it is for rea a flutter and would love to have some more information before talking much about this. Because the preliminary findings are not very suggestive on an EK, I will suggest you patiently wait fro the analysis of the 24hour monitor for a conclusive interpretation. This could simply by anxiety and more so because there is no flutter that can be stopped by aspirin. In all, be calm and lets see what the monitor says and go from there.
