What Could Be Cysts On Right Side Lower Rib Above Hip?

I have a cysts on my right side lower rib age , above my hip. Asked the Doctor that was in for my regular doctor what it was? He said it was a fat deposit that has gotten hard. Not to worry, I told him it was very sore. He said I should lose some weight.

You might have developed sebaceous cyst.

It is a collection of dead material under the skin.

When you press this material comes out as black debris.

Dont worry its not a dangerous condition.

Treatment is mainly surgical.

It can be removed with the wall of the cyst, through a small incision.

Please meet a dermatologist for exact diagnosis.
