What Could Be Done About The Risk Of A Child Losing Their Sight While Having Fluid In The Lungs From Pneumonia?

Hi.my baby is in hospital from mid november till now,pneumonia was found on him,lungs had some fluid,so they tried treating him.now they had to find out he might lose sight(he may not be able to see).is there any chances that he may recover and see again
