My Dr. said my TSH level is 0. He also said my blood panel workup shows it produces but does not release. I have an appointment with a specialist but, it is 2 months away. Is there anything I can do for myself to help this? Am I in danger of anything besides how horrible I feel? Thank you so much for your time! Kim
Hi Kim. Welcome to HCM. If your free T4 (thyroxine) levels are normal & if you don't have symptoms of thyroid disease (both hypo & hyperthyroidism) you need not bother at all. Remember your TSH might have been zero for past few months/years. Its just that you came to know it now. If it has not affected you for so much of time its less likely to harm in next two months. Regards.
