What Could Be Done For Swelling Due To Wasp Stung?

We accidently gave a six year old female 10 mls of cetirizine after she was stung 7 times by wasps? She weights about 45 pounds. Should we go to the ER? It has been over one hour and she acts fine now. One of the stings was on the corner of her mouth. She has swelling on the lip and cheek but that is starting to decrease in swelling.

Hi.
As per your case history of insect bite my advice is -
1. You did take correct step by giving certizine syrup as it is anti-allergic medicine.
2. Apply a soothing lotion like calamine lotion on affected region.
3. Repeat 5ml of certizine if rest of swelling does not subside within 12 hours.

Thanks.
