What Could Be Done To Reduce Spherical Power?

Hi,
I am 24 year old working girl, i have to work on computer for almost 13 to 14 hrs. I am having spherical power -1.75 on my left eye. Doctor has said that i have to wear a glasses every time and whole life because its major issue. I am really scared with this statement and i dont want to wear glasses every time and long time. Kindly guide me if there is any precaution for reducing spherical power and can i wear the glasses only working time????????

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having refractive error in the form of myopia of 1.75 dioptres.
There are no ways to decrease the power but wearing it constantly keeps the power constant.
If you want to get rid of glasses you can opt for contact lenses or laser refractive surgeries.
