What Could Be Elevating My Blood Pressure ?
Lately, I ve had high blood pressure , usually around 135/85 when resting and sometimes as low as 123/72. Tonight, I have BP at 159/96 and I just took 2mg Xanax, which is prescribed to me for anxiety so I m pretty chilled out. Besides anxiety, what could be elevating my blood pressure ? I ve seen the doctor and have undergone countless tests on my heart and related things and they ve found nothing wrong. The docs say everthing is fine. Oh, I took the Xanax 1.5 hours ago.

Kidney function immediately comes to mind for young people with high blood pressure. Your doctor should have checked this.
