Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
It appears to be the inflamed lymphatic duct, the causes may be the infection in the distal area of the swelling, or the filarial infection, in that hand. I advise you to consult a surgeon for diagnosis and treatment.
If it is a bacterial infection, ceases, after the infection is cured.
If it is filarial after starting the specific treatment, the swelling of the lymph duct will come down, and the swelling of the hand will appear, and it will come down after the completion of the course, for 20 days.
Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and
protein rich foods to ease the healing.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.

Welcome to HCM.
Red,raised and painful hard feeling looks to be some local allergic reaction and most likely after insect bite.
Apply mild steroid containing cream 2 to 3 times a day.
It will subside within next 24 hours.
Otherwise you have to take oral levocetrizine and steroid for 3 to 5 days.
Be watchful for allergen for next time.
Consult dermatologist for proper diagnosis and medications.
