Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been feeling weak since last 2 days, with no other symptoms. Just some abdominal pain which comes and goes. Also, the right side of my chest pains slightly for a few minutes, then disappears. Am not sure what is wrong. i have borderline hepatomegaly with grade 1 fat deposition.
Hello! I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
The symptoms you describe are not specific and many conditions can be the cause. Usually fatty liver doesn't cause any symptom. I suggest to do some tests to exclude the most common causes of weakness: -Complete blood count to exclude an anemia (low red blood cells and low hemoglobin) -Blood sugar to exclude either a Diabetes or Hypoglicemia. -Monitor your blood pressure to exclude either high and low blood pressure.
If your symptoms get worse I suggest to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment. Get the studies done to exclude the above conditions. Meanwhile you need to rest, eat healthy mostly green vegetables and drink plenty of fluids.
Hope it helped. Take care. Dr.Rovena
