What Could Be The Cause For Lower Abdominal Cramps And Sore Breast Post Embryo Transfer?

I had embryo transfer 21 days ago donor egg I have not seen a menses but blood pregnancy test negative I still have lower abdominal cramps my breast is heavy And sore, am on prolution depot injection twice a week 250mg and progynova tablet. What could be wrong? Am I still pregnant?

Unfortunately, since the transfer was 21 days ago, and the test is negative, then it means that the transfer was not successful. It is possible that you are having an early miscarriage, which would explain the cramps. The medications you are on are preventing your period from coming, but most likely you will have a period soon, and it may be a heavy one.

You need to discuss with your doctor when you should stop the medicines, if you haven't already done so. I am so so sorry that it didn't work this time, but be reassured that this can happen and it doesn't mean that it won't work if you try again. I hope you are able to conceive soon.
