What Could Be The Cause For Positive Stress Test Result?

Now my age is 62 yrs.Two years back i underwent an angiography and angioplasty, and two stents installed. Now i took a stress test and it was positive.I stay on the third floor with no lift,so have to climb the steps, 3 to 4 times daily. But still i dont show an symptoms like chest pain, intensive breathing etc.Should i go for a 2d echo or an angiography.Or may be a pet scan, but i dont think a Pet scan may be available in our town.

Hi I read your query very carefully.

A positive stress test is an indirect sign of stent closure so I suggest going for angiography which is the best way to diahnose and to treat stent closure.

Hope it was of help!
