What Could Be The Cause For Rise In Levels Of LFT Test?

My recent LFT test has come back at 101, it was 88 3 weeks ago and my gp repeated the test They werwe within normal range in June 2013. She has arranged for further blood tests in 2 weeks time. I had a Roux-en-y-bypass in November 2012, and am wondering if this could be the cause. What could be the cause for my raised levels.

Dear Friend.
Welcome to HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney.
I have read your query in detail. I understand your concern.
You might have developed an Acute Viral Hepatitis.
Also, is a possibility that you got these tests done after consumption of Alcohol a day before.
However, i would still advise you to get atleast:
1. HBsAg
2. Anti HCV Antibody
3. Ultrasound Abdomen.

I would like to review you with results of these investigations and report of your complete LFT.
This is my best advice for you with the available details, if you have any further query, please ask me and revert with the answers of the questions I have asked preferably in point wise manner.
