What Could Be The Cause For Swollen Taste Bud And Hairy Feeling On Tongue?

Hi. I had a periotonsillar abscess 4 months ago. Was on many different antibiotics. About two months ago I began feeling a swollen taste bud on my right side and a hairy feeling tongue. It is also greenish yellow. The last three weeks the swollen taste bud has been switching sides and my left side of throat feels dry all the time. My left ear is mildly painful. I tried Prilosec and probiotics with no relief.

Hello

The back of the tongue also has tonsil like swellings called lingual tonsils and i think in your case , they are getting infected repeatedly.
Dont worry, meet your ent doctor he will examine you and guide you further.
