What Could Be The Cause For Tender Red Area Around The Groin?

Spot on leg since yesterday, was very tender. Just checked it again after getting home from work and there's a large red area around it, and even that's tender. Any idea what it is?

Picture of it below, it's just below my groin on my inner thigh.

Working again tomorrow, shelf stacker so I'm always on my feet (and moving, not just stationary on a till), wondering if the rubbing against my trousers will make it worse and if I should see a doctor tomorrow about it (would lose a days pay)

please check your tightness of ubder wear around groin. It may simple tightness and repeated rubbing during walking etc may be causing problem
