What Could Be The Cause Intermittent Itching On Skin?

Hi Doc! The last 2 days I have had really bad itchy lower legs and feet, with intermittant itchiness everywhere else... It is really starting to get to me....I went to the Doctors today, waited for 2 hours then the power went out and had to leave! Not happy....It feels as if I have stepped on an ants nest and been stung everywhere...at the moment my hands are now going the same way...It started yesterday half way through my work day...I thought maybe there was something in my socks...1 week ago , I returned from overseas holiday to Thailand and Indonesia, but I would think that if I had contracted something from that I would know well before now??? What you think?

Hi,

You may be right. The itching on legs may be related to allergy induced by either insects or contact of socks material. Consult the dermatologist for the perfect diagnosis. After thorough examination, your doctor may serve proper management.

Hope this helps.
