What Could Be The Cause Of Heart Pain During Pregnancy?

I am pregnant and earlier this morning I started eating pancakes and it felt like my heart hurt. As I breathed in, the pain got sharper. I stopped eating the pancakes and after about an hour it stopped hurting. Now I am eating a banana and I had a handful of pretzels earlier and it is hurting again. What could this be?

Hi, thank you for asking Healthcare Magic.
What is disturbing you is probably acute gastritis. Treatment would require lifestyle changes and drugs. Concerning lifestyle changes, it is advisable to avoid fatty foods, caffeine-containing food, spicy food, alcohol and pepper. For drugs, you can try antacids (over-the-counter) and other drug like cimetidine or ranitidine to control the gastritis.

I hope that answers your query. If you have more questions or any follow up query do not hesitate to write to us.
I wish you well
