What Could Be The Cause Of Lesion On Pancreas?

A friend of mine's husband just found out he has a lesion on his pancreas. I read that it could be caused by an injury. I know he has a hernia right now and was to be operated on this month. He has to go for more tests. Would that cause the lesion or is it something else?

Hi.
There may not be any relation between hernia and pancreatic lesion. Yet Someone would operate a hernia only if the pancreatic cancer has been ruled out.
Yes He has to undergo a battery of tests to determine the cause , and since this organ is at the backside of abdomen , it is not easily accessible for FNAC or such investigations so easily.
