What Could Be The Cause Of Palpitations After Hysteroscopic Surgery?

I had a hysteroscopic surgery 4 days ago to remove an endometrial polyp and was put on general anesthetic during and on doxycycline before and after surgery to prevent infection. Two days after surgery I started having heart palpitations that worsened the next day. I went to the ER that night to rule out blood loss and my Hgb was 132 and dr saw no signs of infection. What could be causing the palpitations and should I get further analysis?

Hello,

Palpitation can be due to many causes. One of them can be stress. Rest well, eat healthy and rule out other causes, have ECG, CBC, electrolyte balance check.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
