What Could Be The Cause Of Redness Under Cheeks And Eyes?

Hi, for quite sometime now I ve been having red colour under my eyes on my cheeks. Been having this for a while now. Thought maybe it was dried out cause of the cold weather. I ve been putting face cream on it but still does wanna go away. Thought maybe it was from tanning but I haven t been in over a month and I usually out a towel over my face so it wouldn t get worse. Any ideas what this might be from. Thanks

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

The symptoms seem to be related to rosacea.

I suggest using antibiotic such as metronidazole to clear the infection that cause the redness.

I also suggest using cream for local application such as Mirvaso.

Both medications are under prescription.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
