What Could Be The Cause Of Severe Pain Thrice On Left Side? Dry Heaved Twice. Worried?

My husband has 3 separate nights gotten a severe pain in his left side and two of these times he has dry heaved. The first two times we thought it was bc he was dehydrated bc he had worked out really hard in the heat and not hydrated enough but tonight he hasn t done any of that so I am really worried about what could be causing this.

It may or may not be a heart ailment.
Get an ECG, Lipid Profile and 2d Echocardiography done and see a cardiologist after the reports.
