I will mention those in order starting from the most likely diagnosis. 1.Glaucoma: It is a condition in which there is elevated pressure in your eyeball causing pain, blurred vision and halos. This precipitated by dark ambiance. You need to get yourself check with an ophthalmologist for this. 2. Subarachnoid Hemorrhage: This is due to a minor bleed in your brain. Since you have written that it was the worst headache of your life and your neck hurts so as an ER physician, I would suggest you visit an ER and get a lumbar puncture tests done. This would confirm SAH. 3. Skeletal pain radiating from your neck to your scalp muscles. Watching a movie in awkward posture sometimes result in muscle stiffening and pain.
