What Could Be The Cause Of Single Blister On The Outer Labia ?
Hi, I have been in a monogamous relationship for four years, I have never been promiscuous. Recently I noticed a single blister on my outer labia . After taking a warm bath, it disappeared and didn t leave anything behind. It was like it was never there to begin with. I am freaking out, I have never been diagnosed with an STD and practice safe-sex in my relationship. What could this have been?
Hi, please relax & don't be so alarmed. It is really good that you practice safe sex. Common causes of vaginal blisters include: friction, infected hair follicles, ingrown pubic hairs or blocked sweat glands etc. However they may be a hallmark of STDs like herpes or syphilis. Your's seems to be a simple one. If the problem persist or recurs then please consult a gynaecologist. Take care.
Hii .. m agree with r. Kulsoom, most probably you had a frictional blister, If the lesion reoccur or any swelling on inguinal region appears, than go for some specific investigations accordingly.
