What Could Be The Cause Of Spotting After Having Sex?

hi,, i had sex with my boyfriend last night and i notice this morning that there's a little bit of blood on the tissue paper that i used, its like light red to brownish, and im using contraceptive pill and also we're having sex everyday we used to have sex like once a week, i was thinking maybe its my period but im supposed to have my period on the 1st of february., just worried what is this because it happened the first time..thanks..

Hello,

Bleeding after sex can be normal if it is fist time or near day of menes and even due to hormonal imbalance but following can be rule out. An infection, such as pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), or a sexually transmitted infection (STI), such as chlamydia vaginal dryness cervical or endometrial polyps growths in the womb or the lining of the cervix) cervical inflamation.
