What Could Be The Cause Of Tingling On Lips?

Hi, my lips are feeling a little tingly.. nothing too serious? What could be the cause of this? I recently started dating this guy whom I recently found out gets cold sores sometimes. I have NEVER gotten one before... I might just be paranoid..but what could be the cause?

tinglinG around lips can be due to anything from Anemia , Low calcium to cold sore. It may be a premonitory symptom before one develops an ulcer.
It is suggested to get him and yourself tested for the presence of any contagious diseases like herpes.
