It d be difficult to make a diagnosis without getting the clear picture, but from your description it sounds like you have pityriasis rosea / nunmular eczema usually occurring over dry skin. Pityriasis rosea is a self limiting condition and will resolve itself in 6-8 weeks. You may apply topical hydrocortisone to relieve the inflammation and itching. Apply moisturizer over the area while it is still damp. For nunmular eczema too, same treatment protocol will follow, topical hydrocortisone and moisturizing. If the symptoms do not get better, consult a dermatologist to rule out other conditions like lichen planus / psoriasis and get treatment accordingly Hope it helped.
