What Could Be The Flesh-like Protrusion Hanging From The Tonsil After Expelling Tonsil Stones?

I randomly spat out a load of tonsil stones today and now there s this weird bit of flesh hanging from my tonsil. It looks a bit like a worm? (It s definitely not a worm) I can feel it every time I swallow. Does anyone know what this is? It randomly appeared earlier and I m worried. Thanks in advance :)
