What Could Be The Fleshy Substance Passed During Periods?

Im currently on my period and when changing my towel today I noticed that I had passed a fairly large size fleshy looking substance nothing like a normal period? any ideas, Im currently CIN 1 and have been suffering with reacurring pain on my left side and during intercourse but a scan failed to show any cysts. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
