What Could Be The Grey Mucus Discharge In 9 Weeks Pregnancy?
My sister in law is 9 weeks pregnant, and has been having pink to brown spotting for a week. She was seen in the ER last Sunday and HCG levels were in the 100,000s. We went to the doc, her progesterone levels were normal, and the baby looked great on U/S. HR 180, and even wiggled for us. Yesterday she passed a small amount of gray mucus that had some brown in it. Needless to say, she is freaking out. How do we set her mind at ease?

Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. If the ultrasound is showing normal fetus with good cardiac activity, then there is not much to worry.The grey discharge she had could be the excessive vaginal discharge, or could be due to vaginal infection. I would suggest her to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined, investigated and treated accordingly.
