What Could Be The Lump On The Side Of My Daughter's Gum?
hi my daughter is 9 months and has a hard lump on the side of her top gum doesnt hurt when i touch it but is different to other side at first i thought it was a tooth but she hasnt got her two top front teethe yet.. i heard it could be a cyst that will go away on its own.. can you help?
Hi Yes, you are right , this can be a cyst. This may not regress, in fact can grow on. It is better to consult the Specialist dentist in pediatric field to get a correct diagnosis and you can discuss the management. I think you can wait for the surgery if it is a cyst. But certainly should be removed at an appropriate time.
