What Could Be The Reason Behind Nausea, Appetite Loss And Swollen Belly Right After 3 Weeks Of Full Hysterectomy?

Hello, I had full hysterectomy done end of Sept/13 and everything has been great until about 3 weeks ago (so almost 3 months after surgery). Feel nauseous every day, have very little appetite, lower belly swollen and feels as if there is a tumour there. Feel exhausted to the point that I almost collapse from fatigue. I was active right after the surgery and went for short walks but no heavy lifting for a while. So just wondering if these symptoms are even related to the surgery or something else entirely?

Thank you.

Hi,

I read your medical history and could suggest to run some tests before coming into conclusions:
- do abdominal/transvaginal ultrasound
- do urine analysis
- if you have also having problems with bowel movements, I'd suggest some fecal testing.
- do measure the hormonal levels in blood

To my judgement, it could be related to :
- candida infection due to medications used during operations
- hormonal changes after hysterectomy

All the best!
