What Could Be The Reason Behind Sudden Body Shake For Seconds?

Hi, I am getting a sudden shake in my body and it only last for a 1 second or 2 seconds and i am back to normal again. Yesterday my wife noticed that had the whole body shake while i was sleeping and I did not now that. Sometimes it happens in day time too.
Why do I get a sudden shake on my whole body. Is this any indication to any serious problem that i should be diagnosed immediately. Please advice.

Nephrologist 's  Response
Hello

Thanks for the query

There are two possibilities in your case.
1. You might be suffering from a transient seizure, which is a serious issue and you should seek help from a neurologist. You need to undergo blood tests for electrolytes, Ct Brain and EEG.
2. If the weather is too cold you might be suffering from chills. Which is a normal response to cold weather

Please do not ignore this issue, seek help from a neurologist if you continue to have it

I hope I was of help

Regards
