Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I'm 61 had my yearly checkup. Blood work and ekg. Everything is fine. On Lipitor. I'm in excellent shape. I've been having this little vibration in my heart. It wakes me up at night. I started cardio more the last couple of days to see if I would show any stress that is abnormal for me. Thank goodness everything seems normal. What could this nervous heart be?
I think, you have panic attack and in that case, you need antidepressant with low dose benzodiazepine. That would help you to control such attack during sleep. You can also try some relaxation exercise like JPMR or deep breathing exercise. Better to consult a psychiatrist for proper diagnosis and in case, you need further help, you can ask.
Thanks
